Sunny Boy is one of Namibia's most prominent and successful artists. Blessed with a combination of song writing skills and musical talent, Sunny Boy is well for the raw energy he brings to the microphone, and his thought-provoking and socially conscious lyrics have earned him respect amongst his peers, as a lyrical artist. Kavandje, as he is also affectionately known, performs his own brand of music which he calls HIKWA. This music genre is a combination of kwaito and hip-hop. Today, the genre has become a household name with a huge following. Sunny Boy is also an accomplished entrepreneur who owns his own Independent Record Label, Green House Entertainment. As one of Namibia's fast growing music labels, Green House Entertainment has so far signed up two artists, Kama and Chipolopolo. Sunny Boy's star keeps on shining from the studio to the boardroom.
