When one thinks of Namibian kwaito, one thinks The Dogg. Also known as the Kwaito Master and christened as Moroky, The Dogg has taken the Namibian music industry by storm with his ear-catching lyrics and body-moving beats. Born in Maheba, Zambia in 1983, he moved to Namibia as a small boy. There, he began his formal education in East Ondangwa, a small town in northern Namibia. Being the youngest of four children, his aspiration as a child was to become a mechanical engineer, although music remained to be dormant passion at the time.

Additionally, his record label, “Mshasho”, has become the premier talent production company in Namibia, introducing the likes of artists such as Sunny Boy, Ompuff, and VDK. His most recent successs include the launch of the Mshasho clothing line in 2007, and plans to start a Namibian water bottling company in 2008. One thing is certain, The Dogg has a bright and vibrant future ahead: “The Dogg Is Here To Stay”..
